Grants to Athletes to compete in International Tournaments.
The Association will continue to provide grants to Irish racquetball athletes who compete in European open tournaments outside of Ireland. The Association will also provide grants to Irish racquetball athletes who compete in tournaments in the Rest of the World (ROW).

Grants are subject to the state of RAI finances at the time of an athlete's application.
In all cases, the Executive Committee of the Racquetball Association of Ireland makes the decision to provide a grant to athletes. The decision is final and no appeal can be entered into.
The Association will continue to provide grants to Irish racquetball athletes who compete in European open tournaments outside of Ireland. The Association will also provide grants to Irish racquetball athletes who compete in tournaments in the Rest of the World (ROW).
- A grant of €100 per athlete is available for one European tournament per calendar year (Oct- Sept).
- The tournament must be sanctioned by the European Racquetball Federation.
- A grant of €200 is available to athletes for one Worldwide (excl Europe) tournament per calendar year (Oct- Sept).
- The tournament must be sanctioned by the National Federation of the country they are being held in.
- Athletes applying for grants must be registered with the Racquetball Association of Ireland and registration must be current.
- Athletes applying for grant(s) must have competed in one (1) Irish tournament in the past 12 months (Opens or National Championships) to avail of a grant.
- The grants will be paid after the athlete has competed in the tournament.
- An athlete can apply for both a grant for Europe and a grant for ROW in the same year (Oct- Sept).
- Only one grant European grant and one Rest of the World grant is payable in a season (Oct- Sept)
- Athletes competing abroad must provide their own travel and injury insurance. (The Association will not be liable for injuries while competing abroad).
- Athletes competing in these three championships, World Championships, World Junior Championships or European Championships are not eligible for grants.
