Munster Close Championships
Fermoy Community Youth Centre Saturday 27th May This is a 1-day tournament. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time. Please pay your entry fee at the tournament desk before playing. Matches: Best of 5 games, first 4 to 15 points, tie breaker (5th game) to 11 points Plate Matches (Women’s Novice only): Best of 3 to 11 points All players must be registered with Racquetball Ireland – Register online @ https://www.klubfunder.com/Clubs/Racquetball_Association_of_Ireland/Membership#MembershipOptions Registration inclusive of players injury insurance 10€ until the 30/9/2023.
*All times for Saturday 13th May unless stated *If you require a lift to an outside venue please be at the Arklow Courts at 8am Saturday morning *Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled time to allow for warm-up *Time stated is your on court time. *All matches prior to Semi-Finals and Finals will be played best of 3 games to 15 (Tie-Breaker must be won by 2 points) *All Semi-Finals and Finals will be played best of 5 games to 11 (All games must win by 2 points) *Time between games 2 minutes *Time-outs: 1 per game, duration 1 minute *Warm-up times: Singles 5 minutes; Doubles 4 minutes per team *Exceeding time alloted for time between games, time-outs or warm-up results in a technical foul (1 point deduction) *Doubles partners must wear same or similar colour Shirts *Questions?
