O`Callaghan & Hickey Capture Castlebar Titles

Noel O'Callaghan(Fermoy) & Aisling Hickey(Rossmore) were the winners of the Open Singles titles at the 27th Castlebar Open. O`Callaghan defeated Newport`s Padraic Ryder by 2 games to nil and Hickey was also a 2 games to nil winner over Katie Kenny from the local club
Other singles winners were Scott Young(Arklow) Mens B, Jack Kearney(Araglen) Mens CD, Paul Hynes(Araglen) Mens Novice, Billy Walsh(O'Loughlins, Kilkenny) Mens 50+ and Sarah Ainsworth(Castlebar) Women's D/Novice. Over 60 players competed in the 2018 Castlebar Open with a total of 88 matches played on the courts at An Sportlann, Catlebar, Lakeside Sports & Fitness Club, Ballinrobe and Carnacon Community Center.

Stevie Quinn & Aisling Hickey take top spots at the 2018 Fermoy Open

Cork IT athlete and Irish number 3 was the winner of the Men's Open Singles at the 2018 Fermoy Open when he defeated local legend Noel O Callaghan by 2 games to nil in the final. Aisling Hickey from the Co Tipperary club of Rossmore Racquetball Club won the Women's Open Singles defeating Castlebar Racquetball Club Katie Kenny in the final.

Irish Junior Open Cancelled

3/3/2018

Due to the extreme weather, the Irish Junior Open in Ballinrobe & Castlebar on Saturday 3rd March was cancelled. The next junior tournament will be the All Ireland Even Championships in Fermoy on Saturday 7th April
