We are pleased to announce the Irish team selected for the 2021 World Racquetball Championships in Guatemala.
A six member team will compete in the event;
Aisling Hickey (Rossmore) and Majella Haverty (Castlebar) will compete in Women’s Singles, while Katie Kenny (Castlebar) & Antonia Neary (Arklow) will team up to compete in Women’s Doubles.
On the Men’s side, Eoin Tynan (Fethard) and Ken Cottrell (Kilkenny) will compete in Men’s Singles and team up for Men’s Doubles.
The International Racquetball Federation World Championships will take place in Guatemala City from 1st to the 7th of December. This is the 2020 Championships which was cancelled last year due to the pandemic.
Over 25 countries will compete for team and individual titles and also up for qualification is places in singles competition for the World Games in Alabama, USA in 2022.

The Association is offering support to affiliated clubs who run their own leagues and competitions. Grants of up 400€ are available to clubs who will run a league this season up until the 31st March 2022.
