​Results are in from the All-Ireland Overage Singles & Doubles and Mixed Doubles Championships which were held yesterday in Coral Leisure Centre in Arklow
A very enjoyable day was had by all at this event and we would like to thank Arklow Racquetball Club and all of their committee including tournament director Jimmy Gannon for organising and running a very successful competition
A lot of excitement surrounded the Mixed Doubles event which was played off in a round robin format with Arklow siblings Toni & Adam Neary finally clinching the title in a tie breaker against Irish Women’s Number 1 Aisling Hickey and Irish Men’s Number 1 Johnny O’Keeney

Aisling Hickey from Rossmore and Patrick Hanley from Fermoy were the Winners of the Open Singles Divisions at the Tralee Open on the 21st and 22nd of January. Hanley defeated teammate Johnny O Keeney in the tiebreaker of a thrilling 5 game match while Hickey defeated Thea Coleman from Mitchelstown in the fourth game winning 3-1.
Keelan O Gorman of Araglen and Dara McNamara of Mitchelstown let us see what can happen when you put the training in as they defeated Patrick Hanley and Scott Young in the Open Doubles Final 3-1.
Tim O Connor won his first Novice Final and has now been promoted to a D Player for future tournaments.
